Hi, my name is ella and i'm 15. I lost my little brother to lungcancer about 4 months ago. My parents have wanted me to speak to a psychologist and open up about it but I just can't do it. I think I'm starting to supress everything, I just feel numb when I go into his room. It's been almost completely emtied but everytime i think of him i don't feel anything, just numb.

Help, what should I do, I think it's going to hit me hard at some point

I haven't lost any family members in that sense other than my grandfather due to ALS. It made me sort of numb too. It helps to talk about it, I think it would be good to see that pscyhologist. Talking to our family can be harder than it is to a stranger sometimes. First step is wanting to heal, and it sounds like you want too <3

Have you gone to one or do you know what it's like? Feels weird to just sit down and start talking about my little brother to someone that I don't know at all, but maybe that's what I need
